The wooden objects of Andrew Groves

Andrew Groves is a freelance illustrator. For the past 6 years, he has been working for many clients and developing very beautiful projects. The young man lives in a hut in the middle of the woods in Sussex, UK, and draws his inspiration from this environmental influence.

Fascinated by the nature and the materials it offers, and inspired by a trip to Finland to meet the Sami and their traditional objects, Andrew Groves launched in 2011 a new project of creating wooden objects , Miscellaneous Adventures, created primarily for outdoor trips. After launching a first series of wooden objects noticed in 2011, he now proposes to develop his new 2012/2013 collection with the help of the kickstarter bottom lift platform.

Beyond a pleasant aesthetic, Andrew Groves’ accessories and utensils are designed to last in time in response to the plastic gadgets that surround us. The illustrator shows a real knowledge of the design and the quality manufactured object.
