Inka&Niclas's reveries

Born in 1985 and 1984, Inka Lindergård and Niklas Holmström, respectively from Finland and Sweden, met in 2005 and are now based in Stockholm. Driven by a singular look at nature and a Scandinavian approach, Inka & Niclas try to transform it by applying a surreal and fantasy filter. From a sunset photograph, for example, the warm colors are extracted to be integrated into another foreign element of the image: rock or pile of wood, always placed in the center of the image. The result is strange and beautiful. The supernatural landscapes created by Inka & Niclas offer more than just a reinterpreted sunset and bring poetry and reverie to the original images.
