Ella Webb' science observations
Ella Webb is a science illustrator based in London. Her drawings question landscapes and nature and refer to geographical textbooks from the 40s to the 70s. After graduating, she turns very early to the graphic interpretation of land movements. Fascinated by geological imagery and reliefs, Ella brings to her scientific work an abstract and detailed vision and a palette of colors directly inspired by technical manuals. By making the planet her first subject of exploration, Ella Webb reveals herself through the observation and understanding of the world that she translates into complex and fascinating diagrams, sketches, paintings and miniatures.
