Aithô, je brûle by Adeline Care

Adeline Care is a French photographer who plays between reality and fiction with a sensitive and intangible approach. The stony landscapes of Etna inspired here series Aithô, je brûle. She perceives and explores the absence of any form of life which emanates from there and considers the extinction of the human species and the notion of disappearance through her series. Lunar and post-apocalyptic, Aithô series proposes a story composed of geological strata which evokes the images of mountaineers frozen by the cold at high altitude. Sensitive and elusive, the series takes an unexpected look at landscapes that are usually seen as symbols of chaos.
