Marlies Niemeijer and his delicate drawings

Marlies Niemeijer is an illustrator in the Netherlands. Her career as an illustrator began when she worked for the design company Piet Boon, where she worked on many international projects. A graduate of the Artemis Academy in Amsterdam, Marlies Niemeijer has developed a refined, sophisticated and extremely detailed style that can be spotted by its precision and tangled details.

It is with great finesse and a fascination for the precision drawing that she elaborates visuals of a great complexity. Her inspiration comes mainly from nature and its many forms that she declines and arranges in many organic compositions that teem with details.
