Dr. Siwanowicz' troubling pictures

Born in Krakow, Poland, Dr. Igor Robert Siwanowicz is Research specialist at Janelia Research Campus of HHMI,
USA. He mostly works at his home “studio” in Munich, Germany on his photographs.
Igor is a biochemist by education, but for the past two years he’s been studying the neuroanatomy of dragonflies, specifically the neural circuits responsible for prey tracking and capture. He has raised and bred around 40 mantis species, and has a huge fascination for shapes beauty of insects.
His work has been published by the Daily Telegrap, the Huffington Post and many other photography magazines.
